Instant Local Leads Review,

I think that it’s time for certain rules to be upgraded after the disaster of the world cup. I know that referees have a skill and should do their job naturally but there is alot at stake as well as the fact that players are taking advantage of out of date rules. Players are bluffing free kicks and getting away with it and bringing down what is supposed to be the premier sport of the world. Money and fame has already claimed real football heroes so changing a couple rules and using current technology available is only fair. What do you think and what rules would you review?
I am 13 and write for a local magazine and I do music reviews:
REVIEW: The Informal Gentlemen
This alternative rock band from tiny Spanaway, Washington recently caught my attention after looking up Weezer covers online, and they DEFINITELY have more potential than they think.
Composed of Johnny Collazo on vocals and rhythm guitar, Caleb Burr on lead Guitar back up vocals, Randy Burr on bass, and Joey Carlisle on drums, the band draws influences from acts such as Nirvana, Weezer, and Hall and Oates.
When asked about how he feels about his music and his purpose to making it, Johnny’s answer is simple:
“Some people express themselves through graffiti or painting. We express our feelings through music. ”
They are currently signed onto Uncle Roy’s Music, as well as recently booking shows with well known metal act Being As An Ocean. As of right now, a few songs are released online, and on their Facebook page, but no known album release date is announced yet.
Keep an eye out for these guys, I smell instant success with these guys!
Recommended tracks: Cold Dish, Let It Rain, Ex- Hero
Almost all songs can either be found on their Soundcloud and YouTube accounts!

What are some good websites to meet people in Canada and the US and I guess around the globe?
What I am looking for:
I like how Craigslist has options of what kind of person/interest you are looking for (platonic, adult, dating, etc) and that you can leave a post or read a post at your leisure for a connection.
I also like instant messging too for a more “real time” conversation
What I don’t like: chat rooms seem to be full of games, kids, rude people and you cannot really “meet” anyone.
Craigslist seem to be full of fakes, and few people sincere in making real friends.
Any suggestions on alternatives?
I know the big social websites like Facebook, MySpace, etc are useful but they seem difficult to really use for making “new” friends. Good for existing friends.
I have a Handyman Business in Kansas City and have been using Craig’s List for two years to advertise but they have gotten really good at flagging my ad. I need to start advertising my ad so I can be found on the internet search engines but my spending budget is tight. I am a accredited member of the Better Business Bureau. I think this helps people trust me a little more since their are a lot of unscrupulous people in my line of work, but other than people finding me on their web site by searching my business name JWhandyman Services LLC. Their website doesn’t really do anything for advertising. I also have a web site jwhandymanservicellc.com but I don’t think anyone can find it on the internet either. I also use Google free listing but it rarely pops up during a search. Does anyone have Any ideas on how to get people to see my listing on the internet without spending a bunch on money? Where would you look for a handyman if you needed one?

I’ve worked at my job for over a year and a half (this is my first career job). Up until recently I loved it. I worked my fingers to the bone for this job because I felt like over all I was treated well and doing work I really loved. A few month ago thing started to take a turn for the worst. The owner of the company took a much greater interest in the running of his company.
I would like to make it very clear that I do not work closely or have ever worked closely with the owner of the company. I see him maybe once a month from far away.
To give you a little background I’m a lead animator at a visual effects company, I work on movies. So our ‘office’ was a pretty lax, fun, and creative environment.
As a lead artist is supposed to provide help, mentorship, and some management to the other artists. So I came in early one morning to get some work ready for my artist. I go to the kitchen and make some instant oatmeal. As I’m walking back to my desk an artist asked me a question about our program so I stop to help him. While I’m doing so the owner comes up and loudly asks if he pays me to eat. I’m so stunned I don’t respond and he walks away. A half hour later there’s a company wide email banning all eating in the building, including snacks, except in the brake room.
Also when I got promoted I never revised a rise even though I was promised AND have documentation of that promise.
I’ve worked on several movies as a lead artist and done wonderfully. All my performance reviews are spot on. I’ve never been formally reprimanded by any of my superiors and never even casually reprimanded (with the exception of the owner). All of my work and the work of the artists under me has had great feed back and I have never once delivered something late or of poor quality. I’ve even written and helped develop the training program for new artist at my company. I’ve collaborated on several of the policies that are in place today and are working wonderfully. I was also placed in charge of pre-production for one of our recent movies and finished all of it, with the help of my wonderful team, under budget and under bid. And when a producer asks me to I work till 11pm and come in at 6 the next morning I do it, this happened a lot to me.
However a month ago in the middle of a meeting with two art directors, a producer, and several other leads. The president walked in and publicly demoted me with no reason give the art directors tried to stop it one said “wait we are trying to build a team here!” but he just walked out. To this day I have no reason why. All my managers are shocked and promise it’s temporary. They still rely on me to do a lot of the work of a lead artist but with out the title or pay. It’s so hard because I respect and like all of them, and they seem like they need me. But it breaks my heart every day to go into work after I worked so hard to get promoted to lead and have been treated like that. It was awful I went home and cried all night
There was another lead who after turning in 50 shot had one of his artist run a shot over bid time by a half an hour. The owner of the company came down to the production floor to personally berate him in front of the whole studio and threatened to fire him on the spot. He’s been working here for 2 years and is really well liked. He quit today.
Yesterday a big chunk of artist all quit at once, and another lead left with them. I’d quit too but times are hard and I haven’t been able to find another job. Help, I should love my job but I feel like it’s killing me. Every day I pray I get laid off.

I am 13 and writing for a zine. I review local acts, albums, and music. My first review is due tomorrow morning:
Is this okay, should I add more info? I’m in a bit of a rush

I think that it’s time for certain rules to be upgraded after the disaster of the world cup. I know that referees have a skill and should do their job naturally but there is alot at stake as well as the fact that players are taking advantage of out of date rules. Players are bluffing free kicks and getting away with it and bringing down what is supposed to be the premier sport of the world. Money and fame has already claimed real football heroes so changing a couple rules and using current technology available is only fair. What do you think and what rules would you review?

I understand this depends on local pricing and what equipment I have, but in terms of energy consumption, using average bath sizes around 400 litres and average shower times of 5-6 minutes, using 35 litres, how does it compare?

Composed of Johnny Collazo on vocals and rhythm guitar, Caleb Burr on lead Guitar back up vocals, Randy Burr on bass, and Joey Carlisle on drums, the band draws influences from acts such as Nirvana, Weezer, and Hall and Oates.
