I really enjoyed fallout 3 but New Vegas dosn’t seem to offer alot for what your paying for it. There are alot of other great games like sims 3 on the consoles even call of duty black ops might be worth getting. Please explain why Fallout:New Vegas is or is not worth the $60 pricetag. Pros/Cons

And i have few questions at hand.

    1) How does this self publishing thing work?
    2) Would it be better to self publish?
    3) Have there been any self published authors that are known?
    4) What are the pros and cons about publishing and self publishing?

In any other country a person who sells fanart would get their backsides handed to them in a box with a lawsuit. As I am writing a paper on doujinshi, I would like to know what the academic world has to offer on the matter of lacking lawsuits and why.
I am in a need of sources and I know there are many interested people here, so I really hope you guys can help me out here.

The Cds and DVDs I am saving to my computer are for my work. Sometimes the company puts a training DVD together and I can’t save it in Music Match Jukebox. It wants only Audio media.

  8. Loretta Neale says:

Professor Noam Chomsky writes as follows about the US destruction on November 9, 2004 of Fallujah General Hospital in Iraq: “The word ‘conflict’ is a common euphemism for US aggression, as when we read [in the New York Times] that ‘now the Americans are rushing in engineers who will begin rebuilding what the conflict has just destroyed’ — just ‘the conflict,’ with no agent, like a hurricane.” Professor Chomsky expresses his outrage at the way a leading newspaper contrives to obscure moral responsibility for destroying a hospital filled with patients and medical personnel while reassuring readers that some kind of meaningful rescue is underway.

Now I’m no Conservative hater. In fact I see myself as a Social Conservative myself so my views are not a million miles away from Palin’s. But every interview I’ve seen with her in she makes herself look so dumb it is unbelievable. I honestly never seen a politician more prone to embarrassing themselves when on air- even Bush is better. How did she ever get the position of Vice Presidential nominee?

  11. Desmarais says:

Success- The accomplishment of a aim or purpose
The attainment of popularity or profit
Since both these definitions are very different though someone may consider themselves a successful person because they are doing what they love to do and are happy in life, others might deem that person as unsuccessful because they are not popular like a celebrity or are not in a field of business that many Americans consider as successful.

Can the idea of success be bad? lets say a persons aim in live is to feel recognized and accomplished by society and turn themselves into workaholics completely abandoning the social lives they have, all for the purpose of society looking at them as a successful person (this is taking into consideration that the 2nd definition of success is more used by society)

Now positives this person would be spending their lives researching their passion and may even be happy doing so and maybe they are working so hard not because they want to be considered as successful by society but because they have some sort of higher goal in life that they seek to obtain.

These are my two viewpoints so far so please help me out shoot me some ideas about what you consider to be success and what are some pros and cons of the idea of being a successful person. Pardon the punctuation wasn’t really focusing on it as I typed this.

Also, the reason I am asking is because I am writing a report based off the book Frankenstein and how Victor (The creator of the monster) wanted to be successful and how it lead to his own isolation/destruction and loss of family, and the monsters alienation. I am relating this to real world problems such as divorce etc..
