The first system I ever got was a PSone. I built up a collection of games, and eventually upgraded to PS2. I got many games, with cheap prices. I had some good times with that… But by the time I had gotten my PS2, PS3 was coming out. After a couple years of that, I knew it was time to get a PS3. After months of saving allowance, I FINALLY got it. That’s what I currently game on. Some people might get the impression that I’m a Sony fanboy, because all my systems are in the PlayStation series. To the contrary, I’m opposed to fanboyism. The reason all my systems are PS is because my first one was. So, naturally, I got the second system in that lineup. Then the third. There was no real reasoning. Looking back, however, I’m glad I picked PS3. I am looking into buying an Xbox 360, though.

Now on to graphics… I’m not one of those people that gripes about graphics. If the graphics are sub-par, but the gameplay is good, I’m happy. Graphics are nice, but gameplay is much more important.

I plan on doing the best thing I ever did. Im 14 and I DO plan on working with computers when I grow up and I am so hyped up about them so I decided to start a little project.
I am going to make a HUD helmet and have:
1) voice command (this is an option! but if someone can show me where I can find “how to make a voice command program” I would love you!
2) HUD (im not going to do the following but things like temperature, etc. – just the extreme basics like time and date)
3) Outside cameras (so I can switch from HUD to a real view of whats outside the helmet.)
But first I need to make the screen, something basic and simple that will at least display something 32 bit or 64bit or whatever they call it. IT DOESNT NOT HAVE TO BE HIGH TECH. I just need to learn how I can make the screen so please give me a list of instructions!!
Something no bigger than a size 12 shoe, dont forget I need it to be curved! (like a tv 3-4 inches away from your face, curved for comfort). And will I be better off taking scraps from another device and just hooking it up? (if so then I’ll do it but Id rather learn and have fun than just adding stuff together)
Trust me I know this sounds childish, but I typed this up extremely fast and I really want an answer. I am currently teaching myself C++ using (moderately good) free online tutorials. I don’t spend six hours a day refining my quick-scoping on CoD, for example. In fact, I don’t have a PSN membership! I WILL get one soon, but for now… it’s complicated. Just for fun, I decided to find out what kind of gamer I am (Casual, midcore, hardcore, etc). I took some quizzes, but I got a different answer every time. Could someone who knows al ot on the subject tell me? I’ll tell you about my gaming habits-
The first system I ever got was a PSone. I built up a collection of games, and eventually upgraded to PS2. I got many games, with cheap prices. I had some good times with that… But by the time I had gotten my PS2, PS3 was coming out. After a couple years of that, I knew it was time to get a PS3. After months of saving allowance, I FINALLY got it. That’s what I currently game on. Some people might get the impression that I’m a Sony fanboy, because all my systems are in the PlayStation series. To the contrary, I’m opposed to fanboyism. The reason all my systems are PS is because my first one was. So, naturally, I got the second system in that lineup. Then the third. There was no real reasoning. Looking back, however, I’m glad I picked PS3. I am looking into buying an Xbox 360, though.
Now, onto the games I play…

I plan on doing the best thing I ever did. Im 14 and I DO plan on working with computers when I grow up and I am so hyped up about them so I decided to start a little project.
I am going to make a HUD helmet and have:
1) voice command (this is an option! but if someone can show me where I can find “how to make a voice command program” I would love you!

3) Outside cameras (so I can switch from HUD to a real view of whats outside the helmet.)
But first I need to make the screen, something basic and simple that will at least display something 32 bit or 64bit or whatever they call it. IT DOESNT NOT HAVE TO BE HIGH TECH. I just need to learn how I can make the screen so please give me a list of instructions!!
Something no bigger than a size 12 shoe, dont forget I need it to be curved! (like a tv 3-4 inches away from your face, curved for comfort). And will I be better off taking scraps from another device and just hooking it up? (if so then I’ll do it but Id rather learn and have fun than just adding stuff together)

So please don’t think Im a kid. I just have dreams, mainly of becoming the next Bill Gates. This is just a helmet so don’t think Im building a whole suit.
Just for fun, I decided to find out what kind of gamer I am (Casual, midcore, hardcore, etc). I took some quizzes, but I got a different answer every time. Could someone who knows al ot on the subject tell me? I’ll tell you about my gaming habits-
The first system I ever got was a PSone. I built up a collection of games, and eventually upgraded to PS2. I got many games, with cheap prices. I had some good times with that… But by the time I had gotten my PS2, PS3 was coming out. After a couple years of that, I knew it was time to get a PS3. After months of saving allowance, I FINALLY got it. That’s what I currently game on. Some people might get the impression that I’m a Sony fanboy, because all my systems are in the PlayStation series. To the contrary, I’m opposed to fanboyism. The reason all my systems are PS is because my first one was. So, naturally, I got the second system in that lineup. Then the third. There was no real reasoning. Looking back, however, I’m glad I picked PS3. I am looking into buying an Xbox 360, though.

I have a membership at my local GameStop, and also a subscription to GameInformer. I do read game reviews, watch gameplay videos, and go on gaming sites. Despite all this, I’m not addicted to it. I don’t spend six hours a day refining my quick-scoping on CoD, for example. In fact, I don’t have a PSN membership! I WILL get one soon, but for now… it’s complicated. I get an allowance, which I will usually spend on games, as well as books. (Barnes and Noble is awesome!) I don’t usually buy brand-new games, but rather, pre-owned ones. It may not sound good, but in fact, some great titles (Prototype, Red Dead, Uncharted, Assassin’s Creed, etc.) are available pre-owned. If I have the money, though, then I might buy a brand-new one. Another thing is, I want to play the prequel of a game first. What I mean is, I wouldn’t be comfortable playing Assassin’s Creed II without first playing the original. Of course, there are exceptions. You don’t have to play GTA 3 to understand GTA 4.
Now on to graphics… I’m not one of those people that gripes about graphics. If the graphics are sub-par, but the gameplay is good, I’m happy. Graphics are nice, but gameplay is much more important.

I want to build a website, but before I put it up I want to have a decent prototype. What are some good programs out there? I’ve heard dreamweaver was good, but is there any freeware out there that is also good?

The first system I ever got was a PSone. I built up a collection of games, and eventually upgraded to PS2. I got many games, with cheap prices. I had some good times with that… But by the time I had gotten my PS2, PS3 was coming out. After a couple years of that, I knew it was time to get a PS3. After months of saving allowance, I FINALLY got it. That’s what I currently game on. Some people might get the impression that I’m a Sony fanboy, because all my systems are in the PlayStation series. To the contrary, I’m opposed to fanboyism. The reason all my systems are PS is because my first one was. So, naturally, I got the second system in that lineup. Then the third. There was no real reasoning. Looking back, however, I’m glad I picked PS3. I am looking into buying an Xbox 360, though.
Now, onto the games I play…
My collection of PS1/PS2 games is too big to list here, so I’ll just list my PS3 games. (I only have about 12.)

I plan on doing the best thing I ever did. Im 14 and I DO plan on working with computers when I grow up and I am so hyped up about them so I decided to start a little project.
I am going to make a HUD helmet and have:
1) voice command (this is an option! but if someone can show me where I can find “how to make a voice command program” I would love you!
2) HUD (im not going to do the following but things like temperature, etc. – just the extreme basics like time and date)
3) Outside cameras (so I can switch from HUD to a real view of whats outside the helmet.)
But first I need to make the screen, something basic and simple that will at least display something 32 bit or 64bit or whatever they call it. IT DOESNT NOT HAVE TO BE HIGH TECH. I just need to learn how I can make the screen so please give me a list of instructions!!
Something no bigger than a size 12 shoe, dont forget I need it to be curved! (like a tv 3-4 inches away from your face, curved for comfort). And will I be better off taking scraps from another device and just hooking it up? (if so then I’ll do it but Id rather learn and have fun than just adding stuff together)

It may not sound good, but in fact, some great titles (Prototype, Red Dead, Uncharted, Assassin’s Creed, etc.) are available pre-owned. If I have the money, though, then I might buy a brand-new one. Another thing is, I want to play the prequel of a game first. What I mean is, I wouldn’t be comfortable playing Assassin’s Creed II without first playing the original. Of course, there are exceptions. You don’t have to play GTA 3 to understand GTA 4.
Now on to graphics… I’m not one of those people that gripes about graphics. If the graphics are sub-par, but the gameplay is good, I’m happy. Graphics are nice, but gameplay is much more important.
Anyway, I game on my free time, or when I feel like it. I enjoy gaming, but it only takes up a few hours of my day.

I want to build a website, but before I put it up I want to have a decent prototype. What are some good programs out there? I’ve heard dreamweaver was good, but is there any freeware out there that is also good?

And will I be better off taking scraps from another device and just hooking it up? (if so then I’ll do it but Id rather learn and have fun than just adding stuff together)

Just for fun, I decided to find out what kind of gamer I am (Casual, midcore, hardcore, etc). I took some quizzes, but I got a different answer every time. Could someone who knows al ot on the subject tell me? I’ll tell you about my gaming habits-
The first system I ever got was a PSone. I built up a collection of games, and eventually upgraded to PS2. I got many games, with cheap prices. I had some good times with that… But by the time I had gotten my PS2, PS3 was coming out. After a couple years of that, I knew it was time to get a PS3. After months of saving allowance, I FINALLY got it. That’s what I currently game on. Some people might get the impression that I’m a Sony fanboy, because all my systems are in the PlayStation series. To the contrary, I’m opposed to fanboyism. The reason all my systems are PS is because my first one was. So, naturally, I got the second system in that lineup. Then the third. There was no real reasoning. Looking back, however, I’m glad I picked PS3. I am looking into buying an Xbox 360, though.
Now, onto the games I play…
My collection of PS1/PS2 games is too big to list here, so I’ll just list my PS3 games. (I only have about 12.)

I like open-world/sandbox games, like Red Dead, Prototype, GTA, etc… but linear games can be good too, like the amazing Uncharted series. I have a membership at my local GameStop, and also a subscription to GameInformer. I do read game reviews, watch gameplay videos, and go on gaming sites. Despite all this, I’m not addicted to it. I don’t spend six hours a day refining my quick-scoping on CoD, for example. In fact, I don’t have a PSN membership! I WILL get one soon, but for now… it’s complicated. I get an allowance, which I will usually spend on games, as well as books. (Barnes and Noble is awesome!) I don’t usually buy brand-new games, but rather, pre-owned ones.
