I’m seriously thinking about setting up a website with Amazon affiliate programs on it. But some people are saying it’s not that easy and in most cases impossible to earn money by doing this. I wonder if someone here has practical experience of earning money thru Amazon affiliate programs. Thanks.

I want to add amazon affiliate links to my website, but I’m still putting it together. When I went to apply, you have to list your domain, but if they check it, there’s nothing there yet. Should I wait to apply until my site is up & running?

I own an Amazon affiliate web site that sells jewellery and has links to other Amazon products
I have recently bought another Jewellery site and have six affiliate websites all powered by Amazon and make a nice income on sales which Amazon pay 5% which can raise to 10%
It cost £5 hosting the only running cost of the site and the new owner would also own the domain outright
The site is listed in Google and I am looking to sell the site and am inviting offers but wonder if anyone has any ideas where to advertise the site

I have a question. When I “get link” for an Amazon Affiliate link, it gives me html for a link but also html for a small, invisible image that immediately follows the link.

My question is: What does that image do? And do I need to include the image html for the link to work correctly and give sales to my affiliate account, or will it work correctly with just the regular link text?

Ok suppose i have an amazon affiliate link on my website and someone clicks that link but buys something else do i still get the commission ?

My wife and I are aware of Amazon Affiliates and Google Adsense as the best ways to make money from a website. Do you know of another ads, product selling, or affiliate program that does as well or better than these two?
We get good traffic. Adsense and Amazon associates do much better than CJ or Linkshare for us. We just want another option to use that gives the best return.
