The thing sounds great hits hard for such specs, surprisingly hard! They’ve served me well, but like all good things the time is upon us to switch and upgrade. I want more crisp deep sound. I’ve been pushing Kenwood 600 max watts amp. I’m getting a new, improved bigger SUV giving me a LOT more open space for the “boom” to travel. I’m planning to trick the truck up and out for the days when I want to be a little less classy and just a tad more, how do I say… “RATCHET!”
I want to double the max out to around 1200-1500, keeping the box and upgrading the subs.
I’ve been doing research and seeing the brands and specs matter for bandpass. How true? Any advice/ suggestions on what brand of subs I should look at picking up and the best Amp to push such setup?
I am working with a flex budget of $500, however, if it all can be found for less AWESOME!
