What is AW Auto-Mate?

AW Auto-Mate is a brand new, unique Windows software developed by David Taylor to take care of the routine tasks involved in managing my Aweber lists. These are:

• Find and Delete Unsubs. Rattle through the tedious task offinding and deleting unsubs with this module. You ask AW Auto-Mate to find unsubs and, with the click of a button, it finds the first list with unsubs, selects them then asks you what you want to do with them.
• Find and Segment Non Opens. You tell AW Auto-Mate which date to search from and it will find and select subscribers who have not opened an email from that date. You can then mail directly to them to try to re-establish a relationship with them. (Must have open tracking on)
• Back Up Lists. With a click of a button AW Auto-Mate will set up your list backup. You just need to enter which email you want the backup sent to.
• Copy List Settings to a New List. Ever wanted to copy list settings from an existing list and use them to create a new list? At the moment this isn’t possible in Aweber. So I added a module to do just that. Just select the list you want to copy, give it a new name and description and click a button. AW Auto-Mate will then create a new list from the settings of the original list, even down to the double optin settings.
• My Favourite: Create Multiple Lists at once. I was always frustrated when creating a funnel. I wanted different lists for, say free subscribers, upsell buyers, downsell buyers and affiliates. So in this example, four lists.

Problem is He would have to create them separately since Aweber does not have a ‘duplicate Iist’function. If it did, He could create one then duplicate three times and just change the list names.

The Features of AW Auto-Mate:

• Login from within the software. If your session times out, AW Auto-Mate can log back in automatically
• Login remembered for the duration of the session only. User password is not stored.
• Option to login in the browser for users who would rather not enter their password into a software.
• Backup lists. One click launches the backup sequence. User then enters an email to send backup confirmation to then confirms.
• Find and delete unsubs: If you have unsubscribes spread over different lists, it can be time consuming to delete them as you have to do it list by list. This feature allows you to delete unsubs quickly because AW Auto-Mate finds and lists them then moves straight to the next list with unsubs once deleted.
• Find and segment non opens. Each subscriber on our lists is costing us money if they are not opening our messages. Provided your account supports open statistics (you must use html messages and not have a former white label account since they don’t provide open statistics), you can search for non opens from a date of your choosing. You can then create a segment from the non opens with one click and target them with a new email campaign to try and get them back on track.
• Duplicate list settings. If you ever wanted to create a new list based on an existing list you will know that Aweber doesn’t allow this. You have to add the settings manually. With this feature you can create a new list quickly with the same company details as an existing list. Since most of us have the same business details for each list, this is a huge benefit. You just pick a new name and description for the new list and hit the big green button. You can even choose whether to copy the confirmed optin settings or not.
• Create multiple lists with the same basic settings. If you were preparing a product for launch and wanted to create separate lists for affiliates, free optins, front end buyers and upsell buyers, you’d usually have to create these one at a time.
  With AW Auto-Mate you name your lists and add a description for each in the UI boxes. Then you add your business info, which will usually be the same for each list, and confirmed optin settings for any or all lists as you require. You can also preload an existing campaign, either one of your own using the campaign sharing code, or the included ‘Mega money Emails’ bonus emails which promote various Clickbank products.

• Automatic updates. The software is protected by a license script which also allows me to send automatic updates to customers. Every time the software is opened it looks for updates and, if I have provided one, it will automatically download to the customer’s PC. The licensing also allows installation on up to three PCs.

Do you use Aweber to manage your lists? If you are one of the great many who do, you will be aware of some slight shortcomings in the functionality of the site that could be improved.

Things like:

• Creating a new list based on the settings of an existing list. Not possible at the moment. You need to manually type the details in for each new list.
• Create multiple lists (for a new funnel for example) with the same general info. At the moment you need to add the info to each list you make. If you have a new funnel with front end, a couple of upsells and an affiliate list, it could be quite frustrating. I know it was for me.
• Delete all unsubs. You are probably aware that if a subscriber leaves a list, either by clicking the unsub link or by automation rules you have set up, they are still counted towards your total subscriber count until you delete them. If left to accumulate, these unsubs can push you into the next pricing band even though you can’t mail them.
  Problem is, if you have multiple lists it can be very time consuming to delete them since you have to go into each list individually, search for unsubs, then delete them.

  Features smart list name checking so if your chosen name already exists, AW Auto-Mate will add random numbers to the end of the name until a unique name is reached.
• If you have an existing list you want to duplicate, this can be done in around a minute. Just pick the list you want to duplicate, name your new list and provide a description, decide on double optin or not, and click ‘Duplicate’. AW Auto-Mate will copy the list settings then create a new list using the same settings.

That’s hard to say. It depends on how much you use Aweber.
